Moyle issued today a consultation on its access arrangements for capacity allocations from 01 October 2008, which can be found by clicking here.
The consultation on changes to Moyle’s access arrangements is primarily to consult on the proposed dates and volumes for this year’s long term auctions Oct 08- Sep 09.
It is proposed to offer an 11 month (Nov-Sep) option on the annual capacity to accommodate holders who have existing annual capacity not finishing until end Oct 08.
The opportunity has also been used to include some other matters for consultation: delaying introduction of a weekly product, revising maximum reserve price, including wording relating to SONI’s use of capacity post gate closure, explicitly recognising use it or lose it arrangements and signalling the publication of some summary information on Moyle’s website.
Given that the proposed first long term auction is relatively soon, the closing date for responding to the consultation is 25th April 2008.

Consultation on Moyle Capacity Documents
The introduction of the all island Single Electricity Market requires some changes to be made to the documents under which Moyle Interconnector Ltd (Moyle) makes its capacity available to interconnector users. It further presents an opportunity to introduce some improvements. Consequently and in line with its licence requirements Moyle published its proposals for public consultation on 4th May, responses were received by 28th of May and Moyle considered these responses in its final proposals to NIAUR for approval. Moyle Interconnector Capacity Framework Agreement
The Moyle Interconnector Framework Deed is also published for consultation on behalf of SONI. Subject to satisfactory resolution of some outstanding matters of detail, it is intended that the Framework Deed which currently forms part of the Interim Settlement Arrangements will in future become a schedule to the Capacity Framework Agreement.
These consultation documents are relevant to parties wishing to secure Moyle capacity from 01 November 2007.
